1. From Here To The Moon And Back - Dolly Parton
Ed Sheeran's + and Hot Chip's In Our Heads are great cds. It's what I've been rotating for the past week. Ch-ch-check them out, kids. Or kid - you lone reader you. This coming Tues, we finally get the new Fiona Apple after a seven year wait. Madonna's gonna film the video for third single off MDNA in Florence this weekend - it's the first MDNA single that I really like (but really there are plenty of good songs on that cd - it's just the first two single choices, plus ageism of course, that sank the cd). I wonder if new Madonna will ever get played on American radio ever again. Or is this it for our old gal? Oh, I also cannot wait for new Frank Ocean - I like him like I like Kid Cudi. For whatever reason I put those two in the same category. Finally doesn't the Rufus Wainwright song sound like a Travis song? Is that why I like it so much? Or is it just because sometimes you need to go to an observatory?

worth a quarter
Things I learned this week:
- Hot-lanta is hot bed for awesome dancers, as witnessed on this week's SYTYCD.
- Someone told me a single gal who used to work in our office, when she mistakenly thought I had a thing for her, said I was not worth a quarter. That's right baby. I am worth a billion dollars. Mwhahaha.
- Who are Marine Le Pen and her father Jean Marie Le Pen? Nazis, per Madonna.
- Some people (of the gossipy nature) at the office asked others whether I was gay. Gay? I wish. Loser, geek, self-defeating, mopey, insecure - yes to all above. But gay would be too fabulous. I would have better decorating sense. (I should probably not tell too many people about my love for Madonna though...)
- Cat Deeley can host anything and make it watchable (e.g. The Choice). She will always be my choice.
- Always check your tab, or you would get overcharged (as I was at HRD Coffee Shop this week) and kick yourself for being duped.
- You can dislike one of your favorite actress' performances (Charlize Theron in Snow White). Actually it's one of one of my favorite actresses' performances.
- They released Lego sets for LOTR a few weeks back. So far, I've bought the two cheapest sets, slowly dipping my feet into my latest obsession. One day, I shall collect them and rule them all!!!!!
- I even like to return stuff in my dream. I had a dream in which Chi Young bought two kittens and put them out in the backyard in some sort of playpen. The next day they were dead. As he was about to bury them, I told him to put them back in the box and return them to the pet store for a refund. Hmmm.
- Five year old girls like me (like really like me), before they grow up and realize I am not worth a quarter.
