The Hobbit has wrapped filming, and now it's post production time. Only six more months til the first film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and then another twelve months after that for the second film The Hobbit: There And Back Again. There are very few things that get me this heavy with anticipation, but anything LOTR will pretty much do it for me every time. That, and Madonna and Before Sunset/Sunrise and Haruki Murakami and Amazing Race.
Above is the preview poster just released to coincide with The Hobbit showcase at next week's Comic Con.
EW this week also has a cover story on The Hobbit. The Hobbit is the story of Bilbo Baggins, a most unheroic Hobbit who gets drafted by Gandalf the Grey to help a group of dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, to retrieve a treasure from Smaug the dragon and restore the dwarves' kingdom. There will be plenty of dwarf names to learn by December.
