Today I say goodbye to a few things and good riddance to a few other things:
- Walgreens on 25th and Noriega.
- The U.S. federal government, sold to the highest bidder.
- My job, and all the work anxiety, and a decent paycheck, in exchange for freedom.
- Foggy in Daredevil Born Again. What the fork - bring him back for five minutes???
- Dear David Lynch my filmmaking hero. I was deeply proud when a professor commented that one of my first student films was very Lynchian. I wasn't intentionally going for that, but his influence was so ingrained that it couldn't be helped.
- My hair - it's getting thinner by the month it seems.
- My stocks in the-name-that-shall-not-be-spoken, because any association makes me sick.
- The day getting dark by 5-6pm. Welcome, daylight savings!
- Pachinko. What a great read that was. I was on verge of tears in several parts. The tv show doesn't compare. I disliked all that 80's Solomon stuff in the tv show.
