OH NO!!! Of the five AI contestants that I rooted for from the beginning, Michael Johns becomes the first to be eliminated. I just found out he is gone tonight. Before Kristie Lee Cook and Syesha! WTF!

He has actually been doing quite well all through and has never been in the bottom three, so what gives? His casual cool Australian-ness alone should have saved him. Maybe the ascot did it.



America always gets it so wrong. What next? McCain for president??? And Mariah Carey scoring more #1's than Elvis??? (Oh damn, that already happened. What a pisser.)

Now I root for four: Brooke White, David Archuletta, David Cook, and Jason Castro. I have to say the two Davids have more potential to make it all the way, but Jason and Brooke are more likable and more to my liking.
