Things that get me all weirdly sentimental and choked up:
- Seeing a little kid with a big backpack walking to school by himself.
- Aragorn saying to the Hobbits, "You bow to no one."
- Grandparent out shopping or hanging out with little grandkid.
- Remembering my school days and my friends back then.
- The memory of that phone call that undid everything.
- Looking at old photos of my family.
- Nick Drake songs and that Pink Moon VW commercial.
- The Wonder Years and The O.C. finales.
- Haruki Murakami's writing.
- Watching Billy Elliot dance.
- The very last scene of every season of Amazing Race where they pose for group photo at final pit stop.
- Seeing how people live in extreme poverty (and I don't mean live in despair, but live with pride and courage and hope).
- A warm bottle of Vitasoy.
